Our Chicago, IL Limousine Service
Established in 1996, founder Tracy Hodge first incorporated Ultimate Limousine, Inc. with the desire to satisfy the growing transportation needs of Chicago and its residents. After four years of dedicated service, the company officially became Your Private Limousine in 2000.
Born from modest beginnings, YPL began transporting our very first passengers in a single personal vehicle driven by Tracy. Today, many of these customers still employ YPL’s Chicago, IL limousine services - a testament to the long-standing and dependable relationships we build with our clients. Before long, the business grew and the demand for purchasing additional vehicles was evident. The willingness to accommodate and serve all the vast needs of our loyal clients was the driving force behind our growth. Today, YPL meets these needs by providing ground transportation via Luxury Sedans, Luxury SUVs, Stretch Limousines, Upgraded Vans, Mini-Coaches and Motor Coaches.
Tracy has served on the board of directors for the Illinois Limousine Association (ILA) for seven years. During that time, she held the position of President for three years, Vice President for two and as a Director for two more. She honed leadership skills and developed a keen understanding for the desires of clients while serving on this prestigious association’s board.
The road has not always been smooth. The tragic events of 9/11 and the shifting market have tested and proven the strength and stamina of YPL. The current economy has presented many challenges for YPL, but by keeping the focus on the ultimate satisfaction of our clients, we have continually overcome these hurdles and continue to be successful.
Today, YPL has evolved to service primarily global corporate clients. The Internet has played a vital role in placing YPL ahead of many of its competitors. Online reservations, confirmations, receipts and billing have become the norm. We specialize in customizing the process and making it an interactive experience—and that’s before your ride even begins! This paperless process is another step not only towards our commitment to outstanding customer service, but to our concerns over a greener environment for the future.
Your Private Limousine is concerned about customers’ safety and overall experience during any transportation event. We use only the most qualified, exceptional individuals as chauffeurs for you, whether it’s an airport pick up, wedding, group excursion or other occasion. Our goal is always to provide premier customer service!
All individual chauffeurs who contract with us are pre-drug screened and then randomly checked. We conduct a criminal background check (including fingerprinting), which includes a social security trace, investigation of possible sex offenders and obtaining a current Motor Vehicle Report from the Secretary of State. Information is also secured through the Illinois State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) databases. Additionally, all chauffeurs undergo intensive classroom and on-the-road training, incorporating navigation and our high-level customer service standards. A personalized profile of each driver is developed and reviewed twice each year, including his or her service record. Your Private Limousine takes pride in ensuring the professional appearance and poise of each chauffeur. You can rely on your chauffeur to be clean, neat, detailed and going beyond a “usual” level of service.
